ಚಂದನ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಂಘ
Chandana Kannada Sangha (CKS) is a cultural non-profit organization that serves to promote cultural and social activities of Kannadigas in the Kansas City Metro Area. It has always been very active in organizing social events. Chandana Kannada Sangha events always provide an opportunity for Kannadigas (and their family and friends) to interact with other Kannadigas and their friends and enjoy delicious authentic home-made food. Chandana Kannada Sangha events, thus are an occasion to present/exhibit inherent talents of Kannadigas. Most importantly, Chandana Kannada Sangha provides a forum where the children of Kannadigas are able to imbibe the culture of Kannadigas, so that their ties to their motherland are intact even though they are living so far away from relatives and other family members.

CULTURAL EVENTS
Chandana Kannada Sangha organizes a variety of cultural events throughout the year to celebrate major festivals such as Shankranthi, Ugadi, Deepavali, and more. These events serve as a platform for the community to come together, rejoice in traditional festivities, and keep our rich heritage alive.
KANNADA LANGUAGE COACHING
The Chandana Kannada Sangha team actively volunteers to teach our native language, Kannada, to anyone eager to learn and connect with our heritage. Through interactive sessions, cultural activities, and engaging lessons, we strive to make learning Kannada an enjoyable and enriching experience.
ORGANIZE PICNICS AND OTHER EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Chandana Kannada Sangha also hosts a variety of social events, including community picnics, fun-filled Halloween parties, and more, fostering a strong sense of togetherness among members. Additionally, the Youth Committee plays an active role in organizing a special Senior Sendoff Party each year, honoring and celebrating high school graduates as they embark on their next journey.
